OK, a question. How do you guys put those neat looking pictures and etc on your blogs at the top of them? Pam is a great one and there are others.

Pam, I enjoyed your video of your backyard. We used to have lots of trees and stuff in our yard but poor Cheryl married a man who worked in the woods cutting down trees and when he bought himself a new chainsaw he just had to see how well it worked. Now we have less trees and bushes and lots of tears from the female faction of the home. Of course she could not see that many of the trees and bushes had been unattended in years and needed to be removed. Oh no, they were supposed to last until the end of time. Our apple tree remains because the squirrels have a home in it. They can run up and down "inside" the trunk almost the entire length of the tree. One limb is hanging by a thread but I can't cut it off, oh no.

I have to admit when I got my new chainsaw I felt like the "new" chainsaw massacrer. (No, I can't spell either.) I would see a tree and give my manical laugh as I revved up the motor. Bwahahahahaha. They didn't stand a chance.

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, I woke up this morning and what did I see? Snowballs forming on the lawn in front of me. Spring had brought me such a nice surprise. Snowballs forming right before my eyes. Yep, it is snowing............................. again. My run got canceled yesterday due to snow and it looks like the same thing will happen today. I don't mind but this woman I am married to seems to find all sorts of things for me to do. Personally I think I should be allowed to lie down and conserve my strength but she doesn't think I need any. I would say "beauty rest" but we all know whatever beauty there was left a long time ago and now I am an ugly old toad.

Read in the news today that a model made 35 million dollars last year. Heck, Foam could do that in her sleep.

Seems like there was something else that I was going to comment on but cannot think of what it was so will close.

Have a nice day everyone.

we are under a tornado watch....its not looking too good but hey, I live in tornado alley Id better deal w/ it, eh?

I am not familiar w/ blogger anymore since I switched to wordpress but heres what I know:

To get the 'custom image header' at the top of your blog, you need a template that will support it. Where it says presentation or appearence should be where you can upload it into the html coding. If blogger offers help, they can tell you more.

I often change mine around....

thanks for stopping by The Res!

So come on over to Oregon with your chainsaw. I am two cypress trees at my new house that were planted to close ( like 3 inches away) and need to come down. I also have a beautiful Japanese maple that has been neglected and also was planted way too close to the house.

leave some trees ...!

i occasionally put up a header. i just go to the layout section which you can access through the dashboard.
under the navbar is the header, you can click on edit and it should pull up a page that says configure header. it has a place where you can upload photos. but be careful. if you upload a full photo your header will take up a bunch of space. i crop my photos to a quarter of their size and then upload them.

35 million dollars? i can make that in my sleep? if only ...!

what Barngoddess said: Go to Blogger and check out Free Templates. Some of them you can add your own header.

Mine template was made for me -- so thats why I can have my own picture.

However, I put my own picture in my previous template.

I'm glad you enjoyed my silly video. We had a huge willow tree that had to come down (the story is at the beginning of my blog june 2006) and my hubby and his friend took it down with chain saws. They made those Tim the Toolman/Taylor sounds. (the guys, not the chain saws)
